TSU, Japan—Last October 2023, St. Joseph Joshi Gakuen high school held their 38th Annual Walkathon, a fundraising event aimed at supporting the education of children around the world. Participants walk 10 kilometers (6.21 miles) to raise funds. This year they supported the education of children in Sierra Leone, Philippines, Siloam’s Garden (Kenya) and help Doctors Without Borders with the money we raise.
Sister Lucia Yamada, CSJ led the way. They were especially happy to walk together with many parents and graduates.
