From Trauma to Transformation: COVID-19 Healing in All of Our Lives

April 23, 2022 at 9:00 am 11:00 am CDT

Linger Over Breakfast KC

Part of the Linger Over Breakfast KC series

Treat yourself to an enriching Saturday morning program that promises to feed your mind, body and spirit.

Sisters Patrice Coolick, CSJ, PA, MA and Rosario Bobadilla, CSJ, MA, LMFT, LPC will speak about how the effects of COVID-19 have pervaded our society. In addition to our physical and mental health, these effects have transformed our workplace, education, social, volunteer and daily lives.

Join us as we acknowledge the trauma of what we continue to go through. We will share how to heal and transform our experiences into a brighter future, joining in the sacredness of every person with our positive connections with one another.

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet believe in a mission of love and a vision of unity. The 2022 Linger Over Breakfast presentations go along with our belief that everyone is sacred by promoting peace and non-violence.

The event will take place in person at St. Teresa’s Academy in Kansas City and can be joined virtually.

About us

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet are a congregation of Catholic sisters. We, and those who share our charism and mission, are motivated in all things by our profound love of God and our dear neighbors. We seek to build communities and bridge divides between people. Since our first sisters gathered in 1650, our members have been called to “do all things of which women are capable.” The first sisters of our congregation arrived in St. Louis, Missouri in 1836, and we now have additional locations in St. Paul, Albany, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Japan and Peru. Today, we commit to respond boldly to injustice and dare to be prophetic.
