The Sisters of St. Joseph began in 1650 in Le Puy-en-Velay, France, with six women dedicated to serving their community. Now, 375 years later, the Sisters of St. Joseph and their partners serve worldwide on six continents, continuing to live out our charism of profound love of God and neighbor without distinction so that all may be one.

The U.S. Federation of Sisters of St. Joseph invites you to join us for our 375th Anniversary Celebration in Kansas City, Missouri, in July 2025 to celebrate our history, embrace our present and ignite our future. Hear keynote speakers and panelists, engage in meaningful conversation, deepen relationships and build new ones and much more!
