Deed of Gift

Thank you for your interest in donating materials to the Carondelet Consolidated Archives.  Before submitting the Deed of Gift form, please contact the director at (314) 678-0320 or archivist@csjcarondelet.org to discuss your potential gift.

The director of the Carondelet Consolidated Archives, with assistance from the local province archive liaisons, selects materials that contribute to the development and maintenance of archival collections that document the history and support the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Additions to the collection are approved by the director.

Donations and gifts will be retained when their content contributes to the purpose and mission of the Carondelet Consolidated Archives’ collections, and are accepted only when the donor places no restrictions on their housing, handling or disposition. Storage space, staff time, cataloging/conservation costs, timeliness of the information and the selection criteria will all be considered before donations are added to the collection. Only materials that improve the collection will be added. All additions to the collection are approved by the director. Donors must complete a Deed of Gift form, which transfers physical ownership of the property to the archives.  The Carondelet Consolidated Archives reserves the right to dispose of unwanted items now and in the future.

Your submission of this form indicates that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these conditions. It serves as your electronic signature.

About us

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet are a congregation of Catholic sisters. We, and those who share our charism and mission, are motivated in all things by our profound love of God and our dear neighbors. We seek to build communities and bridge divides between people. Since our first sisters gathered in 1650, our members have been called to “do all things of which women are capable.” The first sisters of our congregation arrived in St. Louis, Missouri in 1836, and we now have additional locations in St. Paul, Albany, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Japan and Peru. Today, we commit to respond boldly to injustice and dare to be prophetic.
