The sisters in Los Angeles invite everyone with a connection to Carondelet Center to join us as we celebrate its sacred ground. We warmly welcome all who have been part of the Carondelet Center story, including past and present sisters, associates, staff, partners in mission, alumni, friends and family.

Refreshments will be served at a reception following a ritual in the chapel.

Why are we saying farewell?

The Congregational Leadership Team, Los Angeles Corporation Board and sisters of the former Los Angeles Province are currently considering options for the future of Carondelet Center. This beautiful property in Brentwood has been home to our sisters since 1955. While no decisions about the property have been made yet, final preparations are under way for our new smaller home in Los Angeles at Villa Carondelet. This former retreat center near downtown LA will soon fulfill three core functions for the western area: as a residential local community, western area offices and a gathering place for events.
