In his letter to the Romans, St. Paul refers to St. Phoebe, a diakonos in the early Church. As we look ahead to the global Synod in Rome this fall, our evening prayer on September 3 will honor St. Phoebe and women who have served as spiritual exemplars from biblical times to today. All are welcome.
